Trail description
From El Parador at the north foot of the Peña Oroel, reachable by car about 9 km from Jaca, the path climbs the north face through pine and fir forest to the iron cross on the 1,769 m summit. The protected landscape gives 6.9 km return and about 3 h 10, with views over the Pyrenees, the Canal de Berdún and the pre-Pyrenean ranges.
