Trail Description
The quiet Rongai Route ascends Kilimanjaro from the drier northern side near the Kenyan border. The first stage climbs gently through farmland and pine forest to Simba Camp on the edge of the moorland. It is the least travelled of the main Kilimanjaro routes.
