Trail description

This circular walk leaves Station Square in Ballater and climbs steeply through oak woods on narrow, rocky paths with some steps to the summit of Craigendarroch, where a viewpoint indicator names the hills in view all around, before descending the far side back to the village. The Cairngorms National Park Authority lists the circuit at 3.2 km, allowing about two hours.
