Trail Description
The route of the 1932 mass trespass starts at Bowden Bridge car park near Hayfield, follows Kinder Reservoir and climbs William Clough to Ashop Head on the Pennine Way. It then runs along the western edge of the Kinder plateau past Sandy Heys to Kinder Downfall, the tallest waterfall in the Peak District with a 30 metre fall, whose spray is blown back over the edge in strong westerly winds.
