Trail Description

Lochnagar is a magnificent granite mountain on the royal Balmoral estate with a great cliff-ringed corrie holding a dark lochan. The path from the Spittal of Glenmuick climbs steadily to the summit of Cac Carn Beag. Celebrated in verse and painting, it is a Cairngorm classic.
