Trail Description
The highest of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Whernside is a long whaleback ridge above the famous Ribblehead Viaduct. The usual route passes the viaduct and climbs beside a stream to the summit ridge with its trig point. Views stretch across the Dales and to Morecambe Bay.
