Trail description

From Route 9D on the Hudson River the white-blazed Breakneck Ridge Trail climbs straight up a rocky ridge over a series of false summits to the top of Breakneck Ridge, with views over the Hudson Highlands and Storm King, and returns by the Breakneck Bypass and Wilkinson Memorial trails. The lower ridge is a steep hands-on scramble and very busy on weekends.
