Trail Description

A 5.4 km climb on the Spruceton Trail to Hunter Mountain (about 4,040 ft / 1,231 m), the highest peak in Greene County and the second highest in the Catskill Mountains. The summit, some distance from the ski area, carries the highest fire lookout tower in New York State.
