Trail description
Climb on the paved Hurricane Hill trail in Olympic National Park, from the trailhead at the end of the road 1.5 miles past the Hurricane Ridge visitor center, to the 5,757 ft (1,755 m) summit of Hurricane Hill. The trail gains about 700 ft (200 m) in 1.6 miles through subalpine meadows. From the top there are panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains, the Elwha River valley, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island. Check road status before going, as the Hurricane Ridge road can close in bad weather.
