Trail description

A 2.4 km climb in Jay State Forest from the Route 242 trailhead on the Long Trail to the summit of Jay Peak (1,177 m), the highest point of Orleans County and the northernmost major mountain on the Long Trail, about 5 miles (8 km) south of the Canadian border.
