Trail description

A 9.7 km climb north from the Snoqualmie Pass trailhead on the Pacific Crest Trail into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, through the Kendall Gardens meadows to the Kendall Katwalk, an exposed section of the trail on the west flank of Kendall Peak, two miles north-east of the pass. The upper trail is steep, rocky and exposed, and falls on the Katwalk have killed hikers, most recently in 2018.
