Trail description
A 9.5 km loop on the Henry Lanum Memorial Trail with the Mount Pleasant Trail spur to the west summit viewpoint of Mount Pleasant (4,071 ft / 1,241 m). The 7,580-acre (3,070 ha) Mount Pleasant National Scenic Area in the George Washington National Forest, north of Lynchburg, was established in 1994.
