Mount Roberts

Trail description

A steep forest climb from the top of Sixth Street in Juneau up the Mount Roberts Trail, past the tram's Mountain House and into open alpine meadows. The route ends at Gastineau Peak on the ridge, with wide views over Gastineau Channel and Douglas Island; the true summit of Mount Roberts, Roberts Peak, lies 1.2 km further along the ridge on an unmarked route.
