Trail Description

A steep and beautiful hike in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains above the Santa Fe ski area. The trail branches off the Winsor Trail and climbs a rugged drainage to an alpine lake. The lake sits in a rocky cirque below Lake Peak, a quiet high country gem.
