Trail description

A 2 km climb on the Pinnacle Peak Trail from the Reflection Lakes parking area on Stevens Canyon Road to the 5,920 ft (1,804 m) saddle in the Tatoosh Range where the trail ends. The view takes in Mount Rainier and Paradise to the north and Mount Adams, Mount St. Helens and Mount Hood to the south. Snow or loose rock can cover the trail all summer and some sections skirt steep drop-offs; the summit of Pinnacle Peak above the saddle needs scrambling and rock climbing.
