Redcloud Peak

Trail description

From the Silver Creek Trailhead on the Cinnamon Pass road the walk climbs the Silver Creek valley to Redcloud Peak (4,280 m), one of Colorado's fourteeners, in the San Juan Mountains. About 14.7 km out and back with some 1,080 m of climbing; at this altitude go slowly, start early and be off the summit before the afternoon thunderstorms that are common in summer.
