Riprap Hollow Loop

Trail description

A loop in the south district of Shenandoah National Park from the Riprap parking on Skyline Drive, past the views from Calvary Rocks and Chimney Rock and down Riprap Hollow to a stream pool, then back up the Wildcat Ridge Trail and north along the Appalachian Trail. It is a long day with a big climb out of the hollow, and the stream crossings are hard after heavy rain.
