Trail description

The most demanding day loop on the Island in the Sky in Canyonlands National Park, circling Upheaval Dome. The trail drops steeply over boulders and ledges into the canyons around the dome and climbs back out, with some scrambling. Start early and carry a lot of water, as there is no shade or water on the loop.
