Scotland Lake hiking

Trail Description

This is one of the hardest hiking trips I have ever taken. It definitely can be compared to such tracks as Satbayev Peak (aka Soviet Peak) for 1 day or Titov Peak. I went together with my groupmate from our local mountain club, Sergey. We started at 05:10 AM and came to Scotland Lake at 14:10 AM. It was not bad, but we could better. As per weather forecast the Sunday should be rainy and indeed it was. After 12:00 the big black cloud covers the sky, and rain was beginning to soak our clothes. Fortunately, the rain stopped after half and hour and we finally came to our destination. At Scotland lake we spend around hour and then started to go down with good pace. At 6 PM we were at Polyana Terra and after 2 hours after we came to Alma-Arasan bus station.
