Trail description
Path walk from the Temple of the Moon over the hills above Cusco to Inkilltambo, an Inca shrine in San Sebastián district at about 3,550 m. Also called Inkacárcel, it is a large rock carved with big niches joined by narrow passages, with figures in high relief, terraces and water channels around it. Colonial chroniclers say it was begun under the Inca Wiracocha and rebuilt by Pachacútec. The site belongs to the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park.
