Txamantxoia

Trail description

Ascent of the Txamantxoia (1,945 m) by its long west ridge from the Asolaze campsite in the Belagua valley, first through forest on the GR 321 Camino Real, then up grassy slopes partly marked with old red and blue paint. The Roncal valley trail site gives 13.5 km return, 1,026 m of ascent and about 6 hours, and warns of frequent dense fog high up.
