Trail description

A steep 5.4 km climb of about 1,000 m from near North Bend to the summit area of Mount Si, on the western edge of the Cascade Range east of Seattle. The mountain towers over the town of North Bend and, with neighbouring Little Si, is named after the local homesteader Josiah "Uncle Si" Merritt. It became nationally familiar in the early 1990s through the opening credits of Twin Peaks, which was filmed in North Bend. The main Mount Si trail, reached from the Mount Si parking lot, climbs about 1,070 m in 6.5 km to the summit ridge.
